A Bit About Paige

As the owner and lead clinical therapist of PKK Services Incorporated, Dr. Paige K. Koos is a veteran clinical therapist.  Paige combines this passion with 30 years of experience of working in private counseling settings and public schools to provide the highest quality clinical counseling services to her clients.

In her role as a practicing clinical therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Paige works with adolescents and adults on a variety of social emotional and/or behavioral issues.  Paige believes all individuals can learn appropriate coping skills to strengthen their own emotional capacities and deal with significant issues.  

Paige has a varied educational background including several degrees and certifications. She holds a Masters in Social Work, a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Administration, a License of Clinical Social Work (LCSW), as well as Illinois State Board of Education certification and endorsements as a Superintendent, District Director of Special Education, General Administration, and School Social Worker. And, Paige earned her Educational Doctoral Degree (Ed.D.) in School Leadership and Superintendency. 

Initially, Paige works collaboratively with her clients to create a plan for their counseling goals.  Once goals are established, Paige teaches the client strategies to cope with and overcome their issues.  As a result, clients are able to utilize the strategies in their relationships and their life activities on a daily basis.
